Planning Commission

The Manhattan Township Board is responsible for reviewing application submissions and making recommendations to the Will County Land Use Board regarding special land uses and rezoning requests.  All Will County Land Use zoning applications are subject to a public hearing by Manhattan Township to allow neighbors and local residents an opportunity to be heard and placed on public record.  Following the public hearing, a letter of support or objection will be issued to Will County as a recommendation of the zoning application.

Manhattan Township will be notified by Will County Land Use once a rezoning application has been submitted by a resident; however, should you have questions regarding the public meeting please contact:
